Let me put it this way. A friend that I met during my youth when I was attending Fu Xing Art School. He internally embraced and fostered an immense, incomparable passion, pursuit and dream towards art. This attribute, we are able to see from the artwork during Da Dong's student years. That type of blazing temperature is quite formidable. RACE FORWARD, WANG DONG CHENG!

Brother, Congratulations.
After waiting for so long, you are finally able to publish your first book.
I still remember, at the time when I published my first book, you were the first person to write the foreword.
I also remember that at the very end, you wrote: "when Da Dong publishes his book, you will be the first one to write the foreword."
Therefore, this is an honor that I can't possibly decline.
I still remember, the time when I first realized that Da Dong could draw
was the period when we were filming Hana Kimi. I went over to Da Dong's house
and in his room, I saw a lot of artwork.
There were some self portraits that were drawn even more handsomely than the real person. Haha.
It was then that I impressively realized that Da Dong was actually someone with such a natural gift for drawing.
But because he was always so busy with work, he never got the opportunity to reveal it to everyone.
Now, he finally has a book that can allow more people to learn about and understand his past dreams.
Maybe it's because we share a similar family background or that our roads were too much alike before we entered the entertainment business,
but these are reasons which prompted us to become good friends that have a tacit understanding of each other during work and ones that could also personally talk about anything under the sun. I especially value our friendship because it's something that's hard to come by in this entertainment circle.
Together, let's continue to strive for our individual dreams. GOGOGO
No matter what type of hardships we meet up with, we will not give up. Right?
Therefore, everybody also needs to carefully read this book from the beginning to the very last word, along with me.

"Da Dong"...
This name, whether you hear it or say it, feels particularly intimate and familiar...
But is Da Dong, in reality, this type of person???
Well, we have to see how long you've known him lo!!!
Very happy that Da Dong can release this book to let more people understand him...
Because he's not someone that can be easily understood...
Don't be mistaken...
His personality is not complex...
It's just that he has the habit to first "package" himself before he becomes acquainted with anyone...
But once you are familiar with him, you will definitely come to like him...
Again, I ask you guys not to be mistaken...
When I say like, I mean the type between friends...
Da Dong is very pure, very cute...
In front of the camera, it's very hard to dig out this side of him...
Because he's meticulous about his each and every little detail while he's performing...
Thus, often times, everyone will only see the him that never makes mistakes and never stops exhibiting his handsomeness...
In reality, that is the negative effect that he presents as a result of the perfectionist expectations he has for himself...
This leads to some people's misunderstanding of him...
How intensely I wish that, one day, everyone can all see the private, "idiotic" him...
The moments when he's not facing the camera are precisely the moments when he's the most enchanting...
Very rarely are there men that can let me feel that...
Foolish, is also very cute...
I believe that the friends who are reading this book right now are repeatedly nodding their heads!!! right?
You guys must've seen the things that others haven't, and thus you guys must keep supporting him with all your might!!!
I hope you guys can always jiayou for him...
He really needs you guys...
P.S
Dear Cha Chong*...
I will support you all the way...
Like "Momo" in "ToGetHer", Momo*-ly supporting you...
You're very awesome...
Never stop striving for your dreams!!!

Cha Chong: A nickname that Rainie created for Jiro when they were filming ToGetHer. I don't know the meaning behind it.
Momo: silent, quiet, without the use of words.

{{Van Gogh and Me / All About Jiro}} This book has, all along, been Da Dong's dream. I'm very happy that his dream has finally come true! I'm also very envious that he had the opportunity to go to Holland because it is "one of my dream city!" Even though I haven't read this book yet, but I believe that it is definitely a book worthy of recommendation. Because I have personally seen Da Dong's dedication and effort in writing this book! With his artistic talent, plus Holland's beautiful scenery, I believe this definitely deserves to be kept and collected!!

When we were little, we would always pick up paper and pen and draw the paradise in our hearts that solely belonged to us.
When we grow up, we would set out in search of the landscape that we yearn for.
In every person's heart, there is a dream that belongs to him/her, that clear and distinct piece of landscape in one's memory.
Do you still remember?
Let Wang Dong Cheng lead you,
Together, to go retrieve that beautiful piece of landscape in your heart's memory!

When I first met Da Dong, I felt that he was a very kind-hearted, and pious boy.
The longer I knew him, the more this feeling was confirmed.
When he's working, Da Dong really has his independent way of thinking, his own viewpoint.
We can clearly see this in his drawings.
This may possibly have unintentionally influenced his narcissistic personality?!
But who doesn't like to be attractive? Haha!
I hope everyone can gain a deeper understanding of the pure and genuine Da Dong through this book.
I also hope that everyone can, through this book, become familiar with Da Dong's underlying artistic talent.
